Welcome to VIA Training Centre!
We are a specialized TESL Training Centre recognized by TESL Canada. The VIA TESL Diploma Program offers the most modern TESL program in Victoria. The program is very interactive and practical, giving students more teaching opportunities which provide confidence for new teachers entering the classroom, and new ideas for seasoned educators.
VIA Training Centre is affiliated with Victoria International Academy, an established ESL, Business English, and iBT TOEFL and TOEIC Test Centre.
NOTE: VIA Training Centre is the only TESL Program in Victoria which is:
a) recognized by TESL Canada (visit www.tesl.ca) and
b) registered with the Province of British Columbia (visit www.pctia.bc.ca)
VIA Training Centre offers three TESL Programs:
1- Full-time 120 hour TESL Canada-recognized Diploma Program
2- Part-time 120 hour TESL Canada-recognized Diploma Program
3 - The VIA Online TESL Certificate
*The Online Program has received tentative TESL Canada approval pending revisions. *
We hope this program will recognized by TESL Canada in the next few weeks.
The VIA TESL programs are taught by TESL Canada - certified instructors. The full-time and part-time classroom programs are recognized by TESL Canada. Graduates of this program are eligible for employment both internationally and locally. VIA will assist with job placement. By learning how to teach English and obtaining a TESL Diploma is an excellent way to start a new career, or to work while travelling and a great way to see the world!
